I love the omakase experience here and enjoy the buzzing noises around the food hall. Sometimes you can go to traditional omakase and it's so serious you can't even chew normally. Thoroughly always enjoy my time here

Went for the 18:30 £45 Omakase menu. It was a lovely experience, and the sushi chef was attentive and very careful when making our sushi. I think the chef is called Michael and you could watch him make every piece of sushi carefully one by one. While busy making fresh sushi he would top up our water and whenever we finished our fresh ginger, he would top that up too. The menu was varied and flavours went well. Fish was fresh. The 10 days aged Balfego tuna was amazing and so was the Scottish salmon. The ebi tempura hand roll was freshly fried. Wasn’t sure what the difference between the £45 time slot and £75 time slot was but was happy with the £45 set. I think the whole experience and quality was worth the money. I’m sure the £75 set is a more elevated experience. Highly recommend! And the menu changes every now and then so worth going back to check it out. Can get more for extra charge afterwards. When you book you will be asked for card details to pay.

Sushi Kamon, nestled on New Oxford Street in the heart of London, offers an omakase experience that truly stands out in the city’s vibrant sushi scene. Under the skilled hands of Chef Michael, diners are treated to a carefully curated journey of fresh, flavor-packed sushi that reflects both tradition and innovation.

The highlight here is undoubtedly the omakase menu, praised by many for its balanced selection and excellent value. Despite being limited, each dish surprises with distinct textures and taste profiles—such as the 10-day aged Balfego tuna and the delicately prepared Scottish salmon, which showcase the freshness and quality of the seafood. The vinegar rice is meticulously crafted, providing the perfect foundation that complements each topping, and even the ebi tempura hand roll arrives fresh and crisp, demonstrating the attention to detail in every bite.

What elevates the experience beyond the food is the atmosphere.
